Triangle Fire Protection is 100% NZ owned and operated. TFP was started in 2003 by Chris Noll and Ian Patterson, and has now established itself as an industry leader in fire safety.

Directors; Brigitte Knill, Robert Rickerby, Roger Noll, and Allan Matthews are fully operational and ensure high standards are implemented in all facets of the business.

Meet The Team

Brigitte Knill

General Manager, Director

Brigitte has been involved in the construction industry for more than 25 years. She thrives in the diverse challenges of leading a large trade contracting business where no two days are the same. She has accumulated a vast operational knowledge of New Zealand Commercial Construction laws, regulations and requirements.
Brigitte is a Director of BCTF (Building Construction Training Fund) and was a Director of Site Safe NZ Ltd (2021 to 2024) and is a member of NZ Institute of Directors. Brigitte has been the Contractors Representative at the Fire Protection Association and has previously held a board role with the association.

Robert Rickerby

Technical Director, Director

Robert has over 30 years experience in the fire protection industry, including more than 20 years with Triangle Fire Protection. He is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers and holds a range of industry qualifications and fire protection systems, safety, compliance, and training.

Robert’s practical approach and extensive industry knowledge have contributed to the successful delivery of numerous projects. He is involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept design and system development through to testing, commissioning,

Roger Noll

Finance Manager, Director

Roger has undertaken various business projects both in the US and locally. He has been with TFP since 2011, where he has focused on the financial side of the business. Roger completed an executive MBA from the University of Auckland in 2017.

Allan Matthews

Construction Manager, Director

Allan has been working in the Fire Protection industry for over 25 years. His reputation usually precedes him, he is well known for delivering functional technical solutions to highly complex projects. Allan leads the TFP team with a strong focus on quality, honesty, integrity, compliance, and always maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Allan has extensive knowledge of Fire Sprinkler and Building Hydrant standards having held roles in Fire Protection design and project management throughout his time. Allan has been involved in large Warehouse projects, Art Galleries, Data Centres, Large Freezer Stores, High Rises, Universities and Office Blocks which, as well as the standard Sprinkler/Hydrant systems, included the installation of specialist systems such as Gas Flood, Single and Double Interlock Preaction Systems, and Kitchen Hood Suppression systems. He holds qualifications in Engineering, Health & Safety and Business Management.
